Down With Liberty, a three-thousand word account of the artist's fascination and fear of the Statue of Liberty, accompanied by 200 images of the monument being destroyed in pop culture, is available in a limited edition of 15 signed and numbered copies, each with a unique hand-painted cover and collaged postcard.

Join us at Gallery TPW on Saturday March 2nd for a book launch and performative lecture. Azoulay will present a slide show of approximately 200 images from her larger collection, speak about her personal phobia of Lady Liberty and read from the book. Earlier versions of this ongoing project have been presented at Deitch Projects in New York, and Concordia University in Montreal.
